Weekends at MAM

Visit Cornerstone Café at MAM, open every Friday, 10 a.m.–4 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m.–3 p.m. Enjoy refreshing beverages, hot coffee, and tasty treats during your visit. The Café is located on the lower level of the Museum and offers indoor seating as well as a library of art books for visitors to browse.

Join us for Sketching in the Galleries every Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m.–4 p.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m.–5 p.m. Everyone is welcome to get inspired by artworks from MAM’s current exhibitions.

This is a drop-in program; no pre-registration is required. All materials are provided, including gallery stools.

Discover the best of MAM as you follow clues designed to take you through our galleries in a self-guided Family Scavenger Hunt. Every Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m.–6 p.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m.–5 p.m., visitors will have the opportunity to participate in the hunt. Visit an admission desk for the clues.

This is a drop-in program for children and their adult companions; no pre-registration is required.

Gather your friends and try your hand at the potter’s wheel. Occurring most Fridays, 7–9 p.m., Wine and Wheel offers a fun and relaxed environment for anyone interested ceramics. Make your very own cups, bowls, or vases you can later take home and display.

Pre-registration through the MAM website is required; must be 21+ to participate.

Join us at MAM for a fun family art-making activity inspired by the Museum’s current exhibitions. Occurring every Sunday with sessions at 1 p.m., 2 p.m., and 3 p.m., Sunday Studio is led by MAM instructors and allows participants to create art in a fun and collaborative environment.

Pre-registration through the MAM website is not required, but encouraged.
