Pottery on the Wheel
Pottery on the Wheel
Discover, create, and learn the inner workings of a pottery studio and how to set it up for success. We will work exclusively on the wheel and gain a solid foundation of clay throwing techniques, including how to prepare, center, and shape clay. This class allows students to learn about glaze combinations and differing techniques involved in the glazing process. Your child will be given the opportunity to dive deep into forming their pottery into something useful and never before created. Students at this stage will gain a new sense of confidence that will help them achieve their best and strive to do more.
All works will be glazed and kiln-fired.
See the Yard School Policies for complete health and safety information.
