Beginning/Intermediate Watercolor Painting
This class is for both beginners who want to explore the world of watercolors, as well as intermediate painters who want to expand their skills. Various methods will be explored including painting wet on a dry surface, wet on a wet page, dry brush, splatter, and how a flat wash and gradation are done. Techniques will include salt, plastic wrap, scoring with a wooden stick, masking fluid, natural sponges, and incorporating watercolor pencils into the paintings.

Karen has worked 30+ years in the advertising marking field as a creative director. She taught 12 years as an adjunct professor at MSU in their design department, Identity, Packaging, pop, outdoor, and print. Creative concept thinking to computer execution. She's been involved in teaching watercolors for the past 8 years for the township of Montclair( The MILL) and MAM. Loving this new chapter.
