Advance registration required.
Reserve your spot by Monday, May 14 at The Store at MAM or call 973-259-5137

To help kick off the Montclair Gallery Walk—A Little Night Art IX—and to celebrate Art Museum Day, MAM will offer a private guided tour of New Media: New Forms, a group exhibition of new media art by New Jersey–based artists. The exhibition is this year’s New Jersey Arts Annual: Fine Arts.

MAM curator of contemporary art Alexandra Schwartz, who co-organized the exhibition, will lead the tour. Additionally, one of the artists in the show, Liselot van der Heijden, associate professor of art and art history at The College of New Jersey, will be on hand to discuss her work, a three-channel video about the Occupy Wall Street protests.

The tour will be offered from 5:30 to 6 p.m., with the galleries remaining open until 6:45 p.m. Visitors can then join the Montclair Gallery Walk, which runs 6–9 p.m.
